Stormy Night

Wow, it’s been busy here…hard to catch a nap

I keep a watch out for trucks from my perch on the back of the sofa.

We were under a tornado warning for about 6 hours last night.  We got lots of rain, but no bad winds or tornados.  Of course, now we have some flooding but it’s not as bad as we’ve had in the past.

This is the main road coming to our gate.  I’m sure it’s worse further down because it gets really nasty when it’s wet.  Fortunately, we have plenty of groceries, so we don’t need to drive on it for a few days.

The road going back to the site is built up and well packed with caliche, so it doesn’t get bad.

We have our pond in front of the RV, so it’s time to dig out the rain boots.

031

We got some more shots from inside the operation.

They plan to be done and move out on Friday.

  1. Sure glad those tornadoes didn’t show up in your area. We little dogs wouldn’t stand a chance. Those are some really big machines you got out there in your back yard.

  2. That’s the good thing about AZ…no tornadoes! We didn’t get much sleep last night.
